What comes with the Dinner Package (Saturday Only)?

The Dinner package includes a two course 'share-style' pre-concert dinner and premium Bird in Hand wines from 5-8pm and reserved concert viewing area.

Drinks can be purchased after 8pm and throughout the performance at a marquee wine bar.


What food and drinks can be purchased in the General Admission area?

Bird in Hand wines, assorted beer & soft drinks will be available at the Bird in Hand marquee bar.

Bird in Hand Picnic, Salad and BBQ boxes can no longer be pre-purchased. There will be other food options available on the night to purchase with cash only.


These will be open before and during the concert. 

Please appoint your skipper early if you plan to have a drink.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All Food and Drinks purchased on the night are CASH SALES ONLY  -     No Eftpos available.

Where can I park?

On entering Pfeiffer Rd you will be directed to the car parking area on a neighbouring property. The rows of the carpark will be marked with a letter of the alphabet. As you will be arriving by daylight but departing after dark, we suggest you take note of the letter of your row to make it easier to locate your vehicle when you wish to leave.

Disabled parking is available, please display your sticker.


What happens if it rains?

The event will be held outdoors on the Bird in Hand lawns and can be affected by the weather. The stage is fully covered but the area for concert goers is uncovered and open-air. Please note the concert will proceed rain or shine so we advise if you are concerned about the conditions to come prepared with the appropriate weather gear – please note that umbrellas are not permitted. Should rain occur and you have not come prepared, there will be plastic ponchos available for purchase at $2 each. Please do not bring umbrellas.


Can we bring our own picnic?

No picnic hampers or eskies will be permitted into the venue.

What do we need to bring?

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat and a jacket as the day may be hot but the evening cool.
For general admission lawn ticket holders, please bring a low chair or rug. High backed chairs will be asked to sit at the rear of the lawn.

You may bring your own sealed bottled water.


What Can't I Bring?

Our vineyard concert is a licensed event. No alcohol, soft drink or professional cameras are allowed. There will be a security check at the gate and prohibited items will be confiscated. The promoter does not take any responsibility for prohibited items.

Please note sunshades, beach umbrellas and any other item which restricts other patrons viewing and enjoyment are not permitted.


How do we get there?

From Adelaide or Melbourne (the south eastern freeway) take the exit to Hahndorf and follow the signs to Woodside along the Onkaparinga Valley tourist drive until Riverview rd. Follow Riverview rd (it turns into Pfeiffer rd) as it bends around and crosses the Nairne-Woodside Rd. The entrance to bird in hand is from Pfeiffer rd. simply follow the signs which lead to the famous bird in hand silos.



Avoid the traffic and parking hassles and leave the car at home. Bird in Hand has coach transfers to and from the venue to make sure you get there safely. Please add return bus transfers from your preferred venue to your ticket package when purchasing online.



By purchasing tickets, patrons accept and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Only valid tickets holders will be permitted admissions to the Concert. All adults entering the venue must hold a ticket.

You must remain inside marked areas at all times and follow instructions given to you by officials.

No recording of any kind of any aspect of the artists' performance is permitted.

Bird in Hand reserves the right to vary performing artists and the advertised program should circumstances require it to do so.

You enter the Concert venue at your own risk and neither Bird in Hand or Stars in Hand Pty Ltd will be liable for any injury, loss or damage you may suffer.

Bird in Hand Winery is an Alfresco venue. The Engagement shall proceed "rain or shine". No refunds

In the event of a cancellation, Bird in Hand nor Stars in Hand will not be liable for any expenses, costs, loss or damage, whether direct or consequential, that may be incurred as a result of cancelled accommodation, transfers, hire charges or by any other circumstances or matters.

No unauthorised onselling of tickets permitted.

Patrons entering the site consent that Bird in Hand and third parties authorised by Bird in Hand may make or record film, photographs or other forms of moving picture, still picture of the event (including, without limitation, of patrons) for the use of media and promotions across all platforms including but not limited to web and broadcast.
