Winter Reds at Bird in Hand

Winter Reds is taking place from 28-30 July, a chance to rug up over a glass of red in front of the fire, enjoying some hearty food and live music. On Saturday 29th July, we’ll be hosting ‘Birds in the Gallery’, the ultimate tasting menu from chef de cuisine Carlos Astudillo, paired with complementing wines. Price $165 pp. Booking required. ‘Latino Heat at Bird in Hand’ will run on Friday evening and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday. We'll be serving ‘asado’, a traditional Chilean BBQ accompanied by relaxed, acoustic music.

Friday Twilight dinner

Following our successful series of 'Friday Twilight' dinners in March and April, we are opening our restaurant, The Gallery again on a number of Friday evenings throughout winter. On 2nd June, 23rd June, 7th July and 18th August, chef de cuisine Carlos Astudillo will be presenting a seasonal menu using fresh ingredients from local growers and our own kitchen garden in the elegant, yet relaxed setting of The Gallery.
