On select Fridays throughout March and April we are running our Friday Twilight series at The Gallery – the first opportunity for members of the public to dine in the evening at our restaurant.
The Gallery restaurant is the culmination of everything Bird in Hand stands for: food, art, design, celebration, and of course, wine. Chef de Cuisine Carlos Astudillo has crafted a seasonal menu using fresh ingredients from local growers and our own kitchen garden, resulting in a diverse menu of standout dishes in an elegant, yet relaxed environment.
Dishes this month range from new season figs with goat’s curd and duck breast smoked in-house to start, with larger plates including North African style poussin and house-made blue swimmer crab tagliatelle. See the full menu here.
Guests are welcome to visit the Cellar Door before their meal to enjoy a wine tasting watching the sun go down over the vineyards from our terrace.
The Gallery is open for dinner from 6pm and bookings are recommended. Guests can choose a two or three course menu accompanied by wines from our Bird in Hand and Nest Egg ranges, or alternatively let the chef choose for you and indulge in our ‘Signature’ or ‘Joy’ Flight, an exciting culinary journey that unfolds to reveal an elite progression of ingredients, flavours and textures over 5 or 6 courses.
